An original and rare 1940 pattern Women’s Voluntary Service Dress. This long sleeve version of the 1940 pattern summer dress features a ‘West Suffolk’ division cloth badge, located beneath the WVS Civil Defence cloth badge on the top breast pocket. The dress is in super condition, complete with the original waist belt.
The dress was made by Berkertex, a manufacturer founded by Leslie Berker in 1936.
